Who are the Nephilim?
The Nephilim are claimed by some to be chimeras, a race of people that are human and angel. Chimeras are combined creatures of two different kinds. The word chimera derives from the transliterated Hebrew word for giants in Genesis 6:4. Some think that the giants mentioned in this verse cannot be human. However, the word is used again in Numbers 13:33, which says,
“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
This verse refers to giant humans. They were large human beings. There is no mention of how large these people were. But they were large enough to be called giants.
Today, there are very big people called giants, but they are humans.
Can angels mate with humans?
Another problem with the chimera (human species blended with angel species) claim is that Genesis 1 states that God created all kinds of plants and animals to produce seed of their own kind. Kind produces kind. Plants yield seed after their own kind, fish and fowl after their own kind, cattle and creeping things after their own kind, and humans after their own kind.
Angels and humans are not of the same kind. Angels are not human, so humans cannot mate with angels any more than with monkeys or dogs. And any attempt to do so would fail to produce offspring because each kind produces seed after its own kind. The mismatch of chromosome numbers and genetic information prevents viable offspring.
Angels do not marry.
But such consideration is moot because Matthew 22:30 clarifies that angels do not marry. It says,
“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”
Humans marry to reproduce more humans. Angels do not reproduce.
Who are the giants mentioned in Genesis 6:4?
The giants were humans of larger stature than most. There is genetic potential for considerable size variation in humans. Though considered abnormal, the smallest human has been measured at just over two feet, whereas the tallest human measured eight feet, eleven inches. This simply shows that enormous growth is possible in humans under the right conditions. Pro-wrestler Dalip Singh Rana and others are very large men by today’s average standards.
Who are the sons of God mentioned in Genesis 6:2-4?
Genesis 6: 2-4 says,
“That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
The term “sons of God” refers to saved men and to angels.
John 1:12 declares,
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
First John 3:1 says,
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”
And Job 1:6 indicates that angels before the throne of God in heaven are called the sons of God.
Claiming that fallen, condemned angels are sons of God contradicts the Biblical association of the title with angels in heaven and saved men. The claim that fallen angels are sons of God is not Scriptural. Angels who love and serve God would not disobey Him.
Scripture and biological facts do not support the claim that Nephalim are human-angel chimeras.

NOT TRUE !!!
To find what is true, let’s turn to the Word of God as our guide. Could you share the verse that aligns with your view? Or please share why you think angels and humans are of the same kind, since in Genesis 1:24 “God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.” And Hebrews 2:9 explains that Jesus being made a man “was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Clearly, angels and humans are not considered the same kind.
